A very "fun" track for me! A sort of "sliced" R&B, Jazz thing. Breezy. It features my, for far too long, "silent" co-collaborator, Glenn Russell making his debut spoken word appearance via iPhone Audio messaging.
Now a "regular" contributor, John Starrs is present with his lovely reading of Walt Whitman and I whipped my vocals into something that actually pleased me this time; a sort of Harry Connick Jr. (right!) "croon".

(I'll leave you to sort out the Walt Whitman portion that John recites. Most of it is excerpts from "Oh You to Whom I Silently Come", a beautiful, erotic poem well worth the read as is anything by Whitman. My lyrics as follows:)

she gave me the stars
a car midnight blue
i stayed on the sofa
that's all i could do
